TECHNICAL SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP WITH B2B INDIA
New Delhi: 14-15 July, Chandigarh: 16-17 July  

#ICE- Italian Trade Agency, in association with Regione Lombardia, Regione Emila- Romagna, Regione Piemonte, Regione Veneto and Regione Calabria, is organizing a delegation of Italian companies, (MOGI CAFFE, POZZALI FRATELLI SRL, PRODOTTO D'ITALIA SRL, ARREDO INOX SRL, BETRUZZI FOOD PROCESSING SRL, LEVATI FOOD TECH SRL) representatives from the food and food processing sector, in India. The program of the four days mission will be inaugurated in Delhi with an Introduction meeting between the participating companies, the internal staff of ICE and Members from FIFI (Forum of Indian Food Importers) and from Foodtech Association. They will give a brief introduction on the actual market scenario from the point of view of importers. The companies will then attend b2b meetings with their Indian counterparts and will visit retail outlets, manufacturing units, etc. in both Delhi and Chandigarh (Punjab).

JET AIRWAYS EXPANDS CODESHARE PACT WITH ITALIAN CARRIER ALITALIA
 
#Private carrier Jet Airways said it has expanded its codeshare pact with Italian airline Alitalia, which offers passengers of the two carriers enhanced network connectivity across cities of the two countries. The new code-share flights are on sale from July 1, for travel starting from July 5. As part of the expanded codeshare agreement, while the Jet Airways passengers will get seamless connectivity to Italy from Mumbai, Delhi, Kochi, Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Udaipur, the Alitalia passenger can fly directly to India from Rome, Venice, Naples, Turin, Florench, Verona and Bologna. BUDGET 2014-15 TO ADDRESS GROWTH & INFLATION, REVIVE PENDING PROJECTS
 
#The maiden Union Budget of the new Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, to be presented on July 10 has raised expectations of a slew of measures targeted at reining in inflation and at the same time, spurring growth and investment. The task before the FM is unenviable, coming as it does on the back of a government indecision and inaction that took the country's growth to below the 5 per cent mark in the last two years. While India Inc expects the government to give a new stimulus to the economy through measures aimed at incentivising investment, it also wants it to quickly get all pending projects back on track.
